How Mi Belleza works
The same app for clients who book and salons that take bookings. Here is what happens at each step.
For clients
- 1
Find a salon
Search by service and place. Each salon page shows real prices, the team, hours and reviews from clients who booked there.
- 2
Book a time
Pick services, a professional and an open time. You see the salon's cancellation policy before you confirm.
- 3
Confirm your phone once
The first time you book, we text you a 6-digit code to confirm your number. That is the only text message we send.
- 4
Pay
Pay in the app, or at the salon when it allows that. Some salons ask for a deposit. Paying online adds a $0.99 service fee.
- 5
Get reminded
You get a confirmation and push reminders before your appointment. Reschedule or cancel in the app, within the salon's policy.
For businesses
- 1
Create your salon
Download Mi Belleza, choose that you run a salon, and confirm your phone. Your salon starts as a draft only you can see.
- 2
Set it up
Add your services and prices, your hours and a photo.
- 3
Start your plan
Pick PRO, PREMIUM or ULTRA. Your first plan starts with a 14-day free trial; a card is needed to start it.
- 4
Publish
When the checklist is done, publish. Your salon shows up in search and clients can book you.
- 5
Get paid
Connect your bank through Stripe in the app. Card payments wait until the service is done, then split and pay out on their own.
Working with a team
- Invite team members from the app by email or phone. Your plan sets how many you can add.
- Each professional is paid by commission or rents a chair. You choose when you invite them and can change it later.
- Commission and tips go to each professional's own payout account. If they have not set one up, their share comes to you to pay them.
- Chair renters keep 100% of their service money and pay you rent instead.
Fees, plainly
- Salons pay a monthly plan. There is no commission on bookings.
- Clients pay a $0.99 service fee only when they pay online.
- Card processing fees are paid by the salon or added for the client; each salon chooses.
- Tips always go to the professional.
